“Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” – 2 Timothy 4:8 NKJV
When the Church forgets she is a Bride, she may strive to become a Queen.
No longer consoled by the premillennial hope of her Bridegroom’s return, her devotion strays with foreign allure, her imagination dreaming of a Kingdom now. When yearning gives way to ambition, she exchanges her blood-washed garments for robes marked with kingdom insignia and lays down Heaven’s charter to pick up a different mandate—one not drawn from the heart of God, but from the wisdom of this age.
Beloved, let us not forget who we are. Our strength is not in dominion but devotion. Our crown—not self-appointed but given when Jesus returns. Remember the Kingdom is inherited and it works from the inside out, not the outside in. Therefore, remain as the Bride: watching, waiting, and made ready—arrayed, not in the regalia of conquest, but in the righteousness of Christ. For it is from this place of intimacy, not ambition, that true authority flows.
