Raising Maturity Within the Prophetic (Part 4)

“(2) “Who [is] this who darkens counsel By words without knowledge?” – Job 38:2 NKJV

Anointed prophetic ministry is not anchored in revelation or social commentary, but is essentially an overflow of an unpolluted heart that has been saturated in the Presence of God.

When a prophet operates solely from a revelatory foundation it may illuminate the mind, but it will darken the counsel of God. It may sound like knowledge, but the words will fail to heal the wounds of a fallen nation or nurture the government of God among His people.

There must come a maturity of the prophetic voice. One that is honed through brokenness and accountability. One that models humility and servanthood. One that manifests the spirit of Elijah of generational restoration becoming a friend of the Bridegroom to contend for His Bride. Nothing else will suffice. No rhetoric or voicing public opinion, but hallmarked by a mysterious God whose ways and secrets He reveals to those who are silent before Him.
