When we survey the degree of suffering around the world — whether geopolitical uprising, climate-related devastation, or the sorcery of Babylon’s soothsayers (Revelation 18:22,23) it should come as no surprise that the Day of the Lord draws ever nearer. As we reflect upon global events, we are witnessing prophecy unfold in real time. I am hopeful and expectant, walking as best I can by faith and not by sight, but I know scripture teaches it will get worse before it gets better. An urgency rests upon the hour as we increasingly cross points of no return and watershed moments in the “parable of nations” (see our previous prophecy 2019).
Like many, I find myself in a deep state of mourning, not only for the overwhelming tumult, discord and degree of global human suffering, but because I find within myself remnants of the same fallen nature of man still competing for my affection. In the world, I am of no importance or significance. Even within mainstream Christianity, I am an outsider — not because of rebellion or pride, but because the Holy Spirit drew me to the necessity of the desert in search of a truth I knew could only be found there. In those depths of intimacy, the beauty of Bridal longing was awakened almost twenty years ago. It was then that I made my vows before the Lord to accept His holy commission: to romance the Bride and help her prepare for His return. So many dangers, toils and snares I have encountered along the way, yet the Lord has delivered me faithfully through them all. I can honestly say, with tears, that I am still standing for no other reason than His great love and boundless mercy. Though I have felt the longing to depart and be with the Lord, I sense my commission is not yet complete, and the mandate of Call2Come must continue. Its message has been honed through many years of listening and fervent study, and I’m excited that soon we shall be able to share with you our Foundation Course, which is already being taught in Cuba, Kenya and Nepal.
Dear friends, as we approach Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets) it is time to prepare for the coming King. Consecration is the “now” word. I believe the Lord showed me that just as His shofar resonates with a spiritual frequency that carries governmental weight and invites His presence, there are also other “trumpets” used by the enemy to release frequencies that can trigger ungodly responses in unhealed and unconsecrated areas of man. Sometimes, we see this manifested through tumult or dissonance, and it provides a “smokescreen” for the enemy to prowl undetected. Silence is “golden”. Like a glass of muddy water allowed to rest, impurities fall away, and clarity emerges. Similarly, our spirit and soul need time to rest and posture in quietude — to be separated, consecrated, and devoted, so that we are not activated by unholy “pipes” or “timbrels” (Ezekiel 28:13) but dancing to the frequency of Heaven and the protocols of the Kingdom of Light.
One such principle I believe is so important and relevant for the church at this time — is that silence precedes the government of God. It is not in the unleashing of many voices that the battle is secured but in the exercise of meekness that prepares a pathway of spiritual governance to proceed.
Remember when Joshua received the unique strategy for taking Jericho? This was no earthly exercise or display of human strength, rather it was the opposite, as Joshua instructed the people “You shall not shout or make any noise with your voice, nor shall a word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I say to you, ‘Shout!’ Then you shall shout.” (Josh 6:10). We see this principle many times in scripture how silence precedes the administration of God’s justice upon the earth. For example, in Revelation 8 when the seventh seal was opened there was first silence in Heaven for half an hour, before the incense, prayers of the saints, the trumpets and ultimately the seven bowls of God’s wrath. The ultimate example is our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, who, during His final hours on the earth, did not strike back, call upon angels to intervene, or say a word of defence to His accusers. Isaiah foretold this when he wrote:
“He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth.” (Isaiah 53:7)
It takes great faith to remain silent in the face of injustice. This is not passivity, but the exercise of Godly restraint — a weapon and protocol of Kingdom governance.
Like that given to Joshua, I believe there are Divine strategies to be released that will not make rational sense but will carry the hallmark of meekness and the King’s seal.
Take this time as we approach Yom Teruah and the ten Days of Awe that follow, to posture yourself in peace before the Lord, repent and be forgiven, exercise humility and as you do, know that He is watching over you and will exchange your fear for faith, and anxiety for peace.
For the trumpet will sound, and as it does it won’t be the Kingdom of Heaven that will be shaken, but everything that stands in defiance against it.
This, then, is my response to the clamour of the world: to stay in my lane, finish my race, and not fight with the weapons of this world, but walk the ancient path so that the prophetic voice can flow—not from the soap box in the crowd—but as a voice crying out:
“In the wilderness prepare the way of the LORD; make straight in the desert a highway for our God.” (Isaiah 40:3)
